We know that the right Assistive Technology (AT) can be an integral part of someone's life. Our professional ATPs will perform a thorough assessment of the client's accessibility needs in the environments they frequent most.
Personalized Assessments
Our complete holistic approach covers accessibility for all environments including but not limited to the home, school, workplace, and within the community. We can help determine the best AT for better access, transit safety, seating and positioning needs, speech and visual aides from low to high tech, adaptive switches, custom fabrication, and much more.
Education
We provide comprehensive, research backed, recommendations and interventions for all spectrums of disability. Informing parents, caregivers, and practitioners regarding AT solutions through in-services are another way to have everyone involved in the client’s care. Education on proper use and optimized programming will improve independence and reduce equipment abandonment. Should a client have financial concerns, we are able to educate them on alternative funding resources.
Advocacy and Funding Resources
The fight for insurance coverage on Assistive Technology can be a long and hard road filled with denials, letters, and a mountain of clinical documentation. We take the battle to the insurances by compiling medical documentation for appeals and comprehensive evaluations. Fighting for patient rights is at the core of what we do and is exemplified through our associations that protect and promote access to complex rehab technology (CRT).
